In botany, an evergreen tree is a plant that has leaves throughout the year, always green. This contrasts with deciduous plants, which completely lose their foliage during the winter or dry season. A shrub or bush is a small to medium-sized woody plant. Unlike herbs, shrubs have persistent woody stems above the ground. They are distinguished from trees by their multiple stems and shorter height, and are usually under 20 ft tall. There are many different kinds of evergreen shrubs. A few are pictured here for your review.  However, the best resource for identifying shrubs is with a field guide.
